National schools' policy on drugs

The National Schools’ Policy on Drugs (revised), was approved by Cabinet on 2 July 2018. Contained hereunder is a summary of the Policy. Objectives: To encourage students to make healthy, responsible decisions related to prevention and elimination of alcohol and other substance use; To provide assistance to students who are harmfully affected by their own or others' use of alcohol or other drugs; To eliminate access to and the use of substances on school premises, and at school functions/events, by students, teachers and other support staff, including Counselors, Librarians, School Security officers, Visitors, Parents/Guardians, of the school.
