The purpose of this publication is to provide a checklist for the education manager at District Level to raise awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS on the education system.

This tool has been prepared by FOCUS on Young Adults primarily for those who design and deliver programs and who formulate policies concerned with the well-being of young people in the developing world.

This paper has been written to meet the need for guidance, expressed by our field colleagues in Africa, on how to introduce and implement HIV/AIDS education in our refugee programmes targeting youth.
