Launch of Ministerial Taskforce on Ending Violence in and around Schools: Declaration

Education Ministers or representatives of Colombia, Germany, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Tunisia, Uganda, United Kingdom, Zambia, and Zimbabwe met on 20 May 2025 to discuss the pressing issue of violence towards children and young people in and around schools. The Ministerial Taskforce to tackle violence in and around schools will lobby to make the prevention of violence in and around schools a priority and will lead by example, showcasing national and global solutions to tackle violence in and around schools.
