39 p.

This is the first national guidance document on school feeding. It is intended to guide practitioners in the planning, implementation and management of the National School Feeding Programme (NSFP). The guidelines are aligned to the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) of the Republic Government of South Sudan (ROSS Goss) and the objectives of the 2012–2017 Education Strategic Plan. The guidelines state the national policy undertaking, legislative and institutional framework, and describe programme service delivery mechanisms. The ultimate goal is to increase access and improve quality of education in South Sudan through enhanced nutrition, gender equality and other socio-economic benefits. The other function of the guidelines is to facilitate coordination among national and international stakeholders towards a responsive, customer-oriented and sustainable National School Feeding Programme (NSFP) NSF Programme in the Republic of South Sudan (ROSS).
