Ghana National Association of Teachers, GNAT

This is a report of a survey conducted to reassess the level of awareness of HIV/AIDS and the use of HIV/AIDS prevention methods among teachers and other workers in the education sector in Ghana.

HIV and AIDS have become endemic. Teachers like other workers spend most of their time in a day at the work place. Hence there is the need for GNAT to protect those infected and to educate its membership to prevent further infections.
