This case study seeks to bring an insight into the positive change that occurred in HIV/AIDS and Education in Zambia. It will seek to identify the nature of the produced action that led to successful change and to identify mechanisms that were operating to support such change, the role of different actors and finally, to identify the factors that were unique to the particular context in which the change occurred and what mechanisms can guarantee the sustainability of such a change.This case study was financed by UNESCO, for presentation at the Forum on Education in All, scheduled to held in Dakar in June 2005.
