Understanding CSE is a digital toolkit to support informed dialogue on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). Drawing on evidence and findings from a youth participatory action research initiative involving nearly 1,000 young people in Malawi, Uganda, and Ethiopia, the toolkit provides tailored guidance for educators, parents, community and faith leaders, government officials, and civil society actors. It promotes a shared, values-based approach to protecting and empowering young people by addressing sexual and reproductive health challenges, reducing stigma, and fostering informed decision-making through practical resources, evidence, and real-life experiences.
