Guidelines for the implementation of the School Health and Nutrition Programme

In 2006, the Government of the Republic of Zambia launched the SHN Policy, which serves as the genesis for this document. The general objective of the School Health and Nutrition (SHN) programme is to strengthen and standardize the provision of equitable services in learning institutions through integrated health and nutrition interventions, in collaboration with the community and partners. These guidelines are designed to help all implementers understand and use the SHN strategies. In doing so, this will help to establish, guide and implement the activities of the SHN programme.
