This technical brief explores the support teachers need to provide disability-inclusive Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in the Asia-Pacific region. The paper also recommends the various actions needed to address the identified gaps. This brief is a companion piece to the full report of the multi-country research and three stand-alone case studies of focus countries, Mongolia, Nepal and Philippines, where additional qualitative data collection was carried out. It is primarily intended for education policymakers and planners, school management, principals, teachers and other school staff and may also be of interest to organizations of persons with disabilities, parents’ associations, youth organizations, researchers and the wider public. Its aim is to communicate knowledge about how teachers can be supported to provide disability-inclusive CSE in the Asia-Pacific region and promote awareness of recommendations that different stakeholders can take to achieve this goal.
