The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on the lives of people across the United Kingdom, including millions of children and young people.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth in Vietnam face stigma and discrimination at home and at school. Many experience verbal harassment and bullying, which in some cases leads to physical violence.
This report is based on a survey conducted by the Centre for Family Research at the University of Cambridge with young people who are lesbian, gay or bisexual (or think they might be), concerning their experiences in secondary schools and colleges across Britain.
The study discussed in this report aimed at contributing to the promotion of gender equality and education for girls and boys, by generating knowledge that raises awareness and fights against the phenomenon of SRGBV. Its main objectives were: 1.
