This document is part of a toolkit written for and by HIV trainers. The toolkit has been designed to help trainers plan and organise educational sessions with community leaders or organised groups.

This document is divided into six parts (Part I-VI). Part I covers (a) the study background including objectives, methodologies and activities; and (b) an overview of the HIV situation among young people and adolescents in the Africa region.

Education International, Education Development Center, and the World Health Organisation have developed this toolkit to help educators and their unions support and involve educators who are living with HIV.

2006, Stonewall asked young people from Great Britain who are lesbian, gay, bisexual (or think they might be) to complete a survey about their experiences at school. The survey received 1145 responses from young people at secondary school.
