This teachers' guide is part of the official Family Life and HIV Education (FLHE) curriculum in Nigeria. It includes sexual health topics from a scientific perspective.

This syllabus describes the intended learning of Life Skills for the Junior Secondary Phase. As a subject, Life Skills is within the spiritual and ethical area of learning in the curriculum, and has thematic links to other subjects across the curriculum.

This manual is the revised Curriculum Guide for teacher preparation in HFLE. The main goal of this guide is to provide participants and tutors with a framework for delivery of health and family life education lessons.
