PIASCY : helping pupils to stay safe (P3-P4), a handbook for teachers

This teachers handbook is intended to guide teachers of P3 and P4 in providing accurate information on sexuality to children. The handbook dispels myths and rumours by providing correct information on HIV and AIDS. It consists of 9 chapters and covers areas such as Ethics, Morals and Cultural values, Reproductive health, Gender, Children's rights and responsibilities, Life skills, HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Guidance and Counseling. An interesting aspect of this handbook is that it has a number of stimulating messages which could be used in classes, clubs and at assembly.
