Menstrual health and hygiene is essential to gender equality and the well-being of women and girls. Yet across the East Asia and Pacific region, many women and girls struggle to receive sufficient information and services to support menstrual health.
This document developed by the WASH in Schools Network provides 10 WASH immediate actions to support school heads in managing their response to COVID-19:

The report, The Crisis in the Classroom: The State of the World’s Toilets 2018, reveals the countries where children are struggling most to access a toilet at school and at home, and highlights those that have made good progress.
This training guide includes eight session plans, each with a facilitation guide, four handouts, two PowerPoint presentations and two short films.
In total, women spend around six to seven years of their lives menstruating. A key priority for women and girls is to have the necessary knowledge, facilities and cultural environment to manage menstruation hygienically, and with dignity.
