The aim of the review was to describe the current status of young people’s SRH and policy and programme responses in the Asia and Pacific regions to support evidence informed policy, programming and advocacy. The review focused on four main objectives: Describe current sexual and reproductive health risks, outcomes and coverage of
key interventions and services for young people aged 10-24 years in the Asia and Pacific region; Describe the underlying social, cultural and economic determinants of young
people’s SRH in the Asia and Pacific regions; Review current policy and programmes related to SRH in the Asia and Pacific regions to identify the evidence-base for interventions to improve SRH outcomes and document best practices and lessons learned to support implementation; Identify gaps in research, programming and policy and provide recommendations to address priority needs.
