This document was developed under the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Gender, Sexuality and Reproductive Health Program of the Institute of Health Psychology of the School of Psychology of the Universidad de la República, Uruguay and the twentieth anniversary of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uruguay. This material aims to contribute to the visibility of the main milestones in the history of sexual eduction in the Uruguayan educational system, by identifying public policy events, parliamentary initiatives, programmatic actions, research and the production of knowledge in this field.
Esta línea de tiempo sobre la educación integral de la sexualidad (EIS) en el sistema educativo uruguayo fue realizada en el marco de los de los 20 años del Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas, UNFPA en Uruguay y los 25 años del Programa de Género, Sexualidad y Salud Reproductiva del Instituto de Psicología de la Salud de la Facultad Psicología de la Universidad de la República. El material busca ser una contribución a la visibilización de los principales hitos en el recorrido de la educación sexual en el sistema educativo uruguayo, mediante la identificación de acontecimientos de política pública, iniciativas parlamentarias, medidas programáticas, investigación y producción de conocimiento en este campo.
