The Sexual Health Strategy identifies the media as a means to communicate on sexual health in an effective and responsible way. Evidence shows that the media is a useful means to provide information to the general public. The type of media used will depend on the identified target audience.
This is Malta's first national policy for sexual health. It illustrates the determination and commitment to address key challenges faced by Maltese society today, which are largely characterised by increased individualisation and the secularisation of sexuality.
