This document provides an overview of the regional situation and the forms and expressions of violence, considering both structural challenges and those of a contemporary nature that shape current agendas. It also presents an analysis of the education sector, identifies the main international frameworks, instruments and agreements on the issue, coordination mechanisms, the role and commitment of UNESCO, as well as key elements for the design and implementation of the regional action plan.
Este documento ofrece un panorama de la situación regional y las formas y expresiones de violencia, considerando desafíos estructurales y aquellos de carácter contemporáneo que marcan las agendas. Además, presenta un análisis en el sector de la educación, identifica los principales marcos, instrumentos y acuerdos internacionales en la materia, mecanismos de coordinación, el rol y compromiso de la UNESCO, como también claves para el diseño e implementación del plan de acción regional.
