Countries in the WHO South-East Asia Region (SEAR) have prepared national health programmes during the last decade and have been implementing the adolescent friendly health services with variable scale and pace. One of the key strategies used by the countries is to reach adolescents through schools in helping the students establish lifelong healthy behaviours. WHO-SEARO has prepared a tool for undertaking a rapid assessment of the status of implementation of adolescent health and school health programmes at national level in the Member States in SEA Region.
