School meal programmes: A missing link in food systems reform

This is a discussion paper prepared as background for the Stocktake Moment of the UN Food System Summit in July 2023. It was commissioned by the Sustainable Financing Initiative for School Health and Nutrition. The briefing paper identifies a range of approaches for realizing the wider potential of school meal programmes as an engine for food system reform.
