11 European Commission Member States and 3 stakeholder organisations met in Paris from 27 to 29 November 2024 to discuss the role of social and emotional education (SEE) as a tool to promote wellbeing and mental health at school. This document summarise the main insights from the plenary presentations and outlines the key challenges that emerged during the Peer Learning Activity (PLA) discussions. The report then delves into specific findings on integrating SEE into curricula, forming partnerships, amplifying children’s voices, supporting teacher development, and measuring progress.
