The current state of adolescent rights, protection, and health behaviors in Mongolia was assessed through a collaborative study employing the “Global School-based Student Health Survey” methods developed in 2001 by the WHO, UNICEF, UNESCO, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2022-2023, the UNICEF, WHO, Training, Assessment and Research Institute for Labor and Social Protection, National Center for Public Health, and Mongolian National Institute for Educational Research jointly conducted the “Youth`s Health Behaviour Among Secondary School Children” survey with a purpose to evaluate the outcomes of existing programs and generate an evidence-based foundation for policymaking.
