The aim of the study is to present a comprehensive overview of population mobility and HIV/AIDS in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). This is undertaken through five case studies as well as an exploration of the changing dynamics of population movements throughout the region and the situation of HIV/AIDS. The study explores links between the spread of HIV/AIDS and migrant and mobile population groups. The scope of migration and mobility includes: internal and international migration; immigration and emigration of nationals; and internal and cross-border mobile population groups.
