Eastern and Southern Africa Ministerial Commitment. Fulfilling our promise to education, health and well-being for adolescents and young people

The Eastern and Southern African Ministerial Commitment on Sexuality Education and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Adolescents and Young People (2013-2020), now known as the ESA Commitment, was endorsed and affirmed by ministers of health and education from 21 countries in the region in December 2013. The Commitment was reaffirmed in December 2021.
