In Macedonia there is a need for introducing sexuality education in schools. This finding is a result of a research determining the needs of the parents, teachers and students, and reviewing the current school curricula.
Telling the HIV story can be done with respect, dignity and sensitivity. It needs exposure to priority issues so that a wide range of stakeholders including individuals, households, communities and policy-makers can be involved in preventive action.
The manual on prevention of HIV infection for university teachers will be used for training future teachers.
