Many teachers who are charged with teaching CSE have not been prepared to teach or are uncomfortable discussing sexuality-related topics. CSE is comprised of complex, nuanced topics that require pre-service training and ongoing professional development and capacity building for teachers and schools. This section will offer resources to help ensure the most appropriate teachers are selected to teach CSE, and guidance for how to ensure teachers and teacher candidates receive the ongoing professional development support they need.
