The 2003 National HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health Survey (NARHS) is a nationally representative survey of 10 000 respondents consisting of 5 128 women aged 15-49 years and 4 962 men aged 15-64 years.

As part of the on-going actvity by UNICEF to reduce the alarming rate of HIV/AIDS spread in Nigeria, UNICEF partnered with the NYSC Directorate and the Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) to train 1 382 Youth Corps members in 7 pilot states in Nigeria.

This article addresses how sex education in Zambia has changed over the course of time, particularly due to the spread of HIV/AIDS. The article is based on fieldwork conducted by the author in Zambia during six periodsbetween 1992 and 2003, and additional literature on HIV/AIDS education.

This report considers the effects HIV/AIDS will have on the national education system in Namibia. It considers the factors that have aided and continue to aid the spread of the disease throughout Africa and throughout Namibia.
