Halfway there: a prescription for continued progress in preventing teen pregnancy

The report reflects some key lessons that the National Campaign has learned in the past five years of intense work on teen pregnancy prevention. It reviews the status of teen pregnancy in the U.S. The report then summarizes ten insights about the challenge of preventing teen pregnancy that the National Campaign gained from its intense interactions with teens and parents, researchers, programme leaders, policy-makers and the media. The report also provides recommendations to parents, the media, and policy-makers about what the National Campaign thinks it will take to further reduce rates of teen pregnancy.
