This thematic brief aims to take stock of existing evidence informing the potential of digital tools to complement delivery of sexuality education in the classroom, featuring a range of promising examples of how schools are using digital tools to support quality and comprehensive delivery. It recommends the following practical considerations when exploring the use of digital tools to support classroom delivery of sexuality education: 1) Choose tools that are appropriate for the setting; 2) Develop and adapt digital tools in partnership with teachers and learners; 3) Consider the need to provide schools with hardware and access to the internet; 4) Build the digital literacy of teachers to ensure quality delivery; 5) Consider learner safety and protection; 6) Don’t underestimate the value of non-digital learning.
