In collaboration with line ministries and partners, NCPD held a national dialogue on 4th March 2020 to discuss adolescent health and development with a focus on teenage pregnancy. Ending teenage pregnancy in Kenya is a development issue that requires a multi-sectoral action and collaboration of various actors and sectors to respond to the crisis. The objectives of the national dialogue meeting were: 1) To engage stakeholders on the challenges of teenage pregnancy and identify possible solutions to collectively addressing the problem; 2) To strengthen collaboration and coordination and build synergies in the implementation of ICPD25 Commitment on ending teenage pregnancy in Kenya by 2030; and 3) To launch a national campaign on ending teenage pregnancy in Kenya.
