Zambia is one of the twenty countries in the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) region that affirmed their joint commitment to deliver Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services for young people. There are a number of strategies and policies that support the Implementation of these commitments in Zambia. However, these strategies appear to be segmented and uncoordinated and though they have been effective in areas such as Gender Based Violence and formulation of an Out of School outreach Strategy, these individual provisions do not constitute a national strategy on CSE and SRHR. Zambia has nonetheless made strides in the integration of CSE in the national education curriculum, it however appears that its provisions are selective as culture and traditions have interfered in its delivery. There have been teacher trainings across the regions as well resource centers set up to provide CSE and SRHR, however there is need for pre-service training to be made compulsory and enhance the delivery of materials across the region to provide effective CSE by teachers
