Through the study of this module, teachers will learn techniques and ways to effectively guide their young and adult students in learning about HIV/AIDS.

A teacher's guide was developed as part of the School-Based Healthy Living and HIV/AIDS Preventive Education (SHAPE). The guide comprises of four sections: Healthy living and understanding your body; Health and diseases; Social skills for healthy living; and A sound mind in a sound body.

A skills-building resource pack on gender and reproductive health for adolescents and youth workers, with an emphasis on violence, HIV, STIs, unwanted pregnancy.

The book was written for adolescents aged 14 to 19, to help them cope with challenges and decisions they may face during the transition period from childhood to adulthood.

The Health Promoting School (HPS) course is a core course for pre-service teachers. The rationale for this course is to improve the health of students, teachers and the wider community through good teaching, effective management and being a positive role model.

The vision for the health and family life education is to provide a positive stimulating learning environment which maximizes individual potential and ensures that all students are cared for spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally and that they are well equipped

The lessons contained in this packet provide a means for educators to begin to address homophobic bullying in their school setting. The four activities proposed are aimed at both primary and secondary level classes.

This course is designed to contribute toward the reconstruction of education systems through the promotion and establishment of safe, secure and supportive learning environments where quality education is widely accessible to all learners including the broader community.

This educator handbook contains supplemental educational materials and activities for HIV and AIDS prevention. It is designed for use with all versions of the TeachAIDS animations.

Recognizing the importance of teachers in stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS in Zambia, the Ministry of Education requires that HIV/AIDS be integrated into classroom teaching at all levels.
