The Department is committed to diversity and inclusion in providing the highest level of service to the Victorian community and in reflecting the diversity of the community across its workforce.
The first section of this document outlines the background context.
Most countries do not know much about the outcomes or impact of activities related to gender based violence. Gender based violence undermines both social and economic development and the individual’s capacity for realising her or his rights and potentials under already strained conditions.
In Victoria we pride ourselves on having safe and effective schools that cater for the diverse needs of the community. Everyone has a role in creating a safe school environment for all students.
