This package is one of a series of repackaged products aimed at alerting users on highly valuable educational resources that exist in the field of adolescent reproductive sexual health. It focuses on the impact of peer education in promoting necessary changes among adolescents in attitudes and behaviour with regard to reproductive and sexual health and is targeted at teachers, trainers, curriculum developers and school administrators. Chapter 1: Defines what peer education is, the role of a peer educator and how peer education became recognized as an effective strategy for passing reproductive and sexual health messages to the youth. Chapter 2: Provides the justification for using peer education in changing attitudes and behaviour.
