This report which was developed through a consultation process, outlines a set of 14 curriculum development priorities which are aimed at addressing HIV/AIDS issues both within the university community (internal) and within the general community and society (external). The report consists of 9 sections which include: The problem facing UWI, Background-HIV/AIDS Epidemic and Institutional context, The Curriculum Planning and Consultative process, Proposed priority curriculum and programming needs, Strategies for effective curriculum development, Proposed curriculum focus, Additional observations and Recommended timeline for action. The appendix includes a paper titled "Should Caribbean publishers contribute textbooks to fight against the epidemic" which makes interesting reading.
