Reaching vulnerable youth: providing SRH services to street kids in Guatemala and Bolivia

The projects in Guatemala and Bolivia aimed to improve the SRH of disadvantaged youth, as well as the capacity for the Member Associations (MAs) to reach and effectively serve them. The objectives included: a) Improving the knowledge and attitudes and practices of project youth in the prevention of pregnancy and STI/HIV through a peer education and empowerment model; b) Increasing the access to SRH services for project youth; c) Contributing to expanding the capacity of the government to meet the SRH needs of youth who live and/or work on the street.
