Considering the importance of CSE, the updated school curriculum has introduced it from basic education to high school education. Different universities also included CSE components in their programmes especially in faculty of education.

This study, examining the knowledge, attitudes, practices and beliefs of street-based children in the context of HIV/AIDS, has been conducted to provide high quality data that can be acted upon with greater confidence to improve the appropriateness and effectiveness of programme interventions.
The role of education is important for providing the right educational messages on HIV prevention and mitigation, and reduction of stigma and discrimination against people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
