This is a summary of the book: "Emerging Answers," that provides a review of research based information aimed at helping communities make good decisions about preventing teen pregnancy.
The resource materials presented here are based on the Interim Curriculum and Guidelines for Relationships and Sexuality Education prepared by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment and approved by the Department of Education and Science.
The document has been developed by SENSOA, the Flemish expert organisation on sexual health and HIV. It is a provisonal synthesis of the direction that sex education should take.
This guidance on sex and relationship education in schools replaces Circular 5/94.
