The aim of this investigation is primarily to determine firstly, who of the registered students studying at Technikon Pretoria is most at risk to become HIV infected, secondly to determine which behaviours put them at risk, and thirdly to determine their understanding of their basic rights as humans, in the workplace and in a relationship. This research provides both socio-demographic, knowledge and behavioural information regarding registered students of Technikon Pretoria as it relates to various aspects concerning HIV and AIDS.It concludes with a list of recommendations for institutionalising a response.
