Wellbeing in education; Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice: 2018-2023

This site provides access to a wide range of wellbeing information and supports for schools, students and parents. The Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice provides an overarching structure encompassing existing, ongoing and developing work in this area including the Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework and Social Personal and Health Education (SPHE) curriculum at the primary level, and the Junior Cycle Wellbeing Programme at the post primary level. This policy is for schools, centres for education, children and young people, parents/carers, support services, government departments, non-government organisations and all those with an interest in wellbeing promotion in education.
