Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)

These Guidelines for Addressing HIV in Humanitarian Settings aim to assist humanitarian and AIDS organizations to plan the delivery of a minimum set of HIV prevention, treatment, care and support services to people affected by humanitarian crises.

The purpose of these guidelines is to enable governments and cooperating agencies, including UN Agencies and NGOs, to deliver the minimum required multisectoral response to HIV/AIDS during the early phase of emergency situations.
