This report presents the findings of the 2018 School Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (SWASH) Assessment survey.
In South Korea, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students encounter a range of challenges in educational environments. Many LGBT students experience bullying, harassment, and exclusion in school, which can jeopardize their physical safety and mental health.
In many developing countries, girls lack the knowledge, support and resources (facilities and sanitary materials) to manage their menstruation with confidence and without shame. In Fiji, there is a lack of information regarding menstrual hygiene management (MHM).
