Sexual Education in the Uruguayan Education System: More than 100 years of public policies and strategies 1913-2024

This document was developed under the framework of the 25 th anniversary of the Gender, Sexuality and Reproductive Health Program of the Institute of Health Psychology of the School of Psychology of the Universidad de la República, Uruguay and the twentieth anniversary of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uruguay. This material aims to contribute to the visibility of the main milestones in the history of sexual eduction in the Uruguayan educational system, by identifying public policy events, parliamentary initiatives, programmatic actions, research and the production of knowledge in this field.
