The report describes and discusses primary and secondary school-based HIV/AIDS and sexual reproductive health education in selected countries in the Asia and Pacific region. The study presents the findings of the feasibilty study of monitoring sexual and reproductive health education in primary and secondary schools in the region. The report is divided into three sections. Section 1 includes the introduction and aims of the study. Section 2 discusses the feasibility of monitoring school-based education system including a brief account of the difficulties encountered in undertaking such monitoring and what would be needed to ensure the timely updating of information. Section 3 presents a summary description and discussion of different countries' policies and practices in regard to school-based HIV/AIDS prevention.
