The AIDS Badge Curriculum

The curriculum and fact sheets provide girls and young women with important information on HIV/AIDS and sexual health; organized according to ages (10-12, 13-15, 15+). The activities are designed to help them acquire and share information about HIV/AIDS with their families and friends; become more confident about issues related to sexual health and explore ways they can make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS. While designed for use in the activities of the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Associations, it may also be of use in school-based HIV/AIDS education programmes. The document includes: student activities, skills building, information and a teachers' manual.
