The Commission on Population and Development and its implementing partners in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) developed a Comprehensive Gender and Health Education for Youth (CGHEY) Module which aims to educate the Muslim adolescents on critical information on gender and development, health and reproductive health and their total well-being in the context of Islamic values and principles. The module is divided into five parts namely: Anatomy and Physiology; Gender and Development; Health and Nutrition; Social Relationships; and, Human Relations and Spiritual Responsibilities which covers critical topics on health and reproductive health information and life skills for Muslim youth that will guide them as they maneuver their way in the period of adolescence, which is a time of transition from childhood to adulthood.
