In 2019, 193 UNESCO Member States unanimously established the International Day against Violence and Bullying at School Including Cyberbullying, recognizing that school-related violence in all its forms is an infringement of children and adolescents’ rights to health and to education.
The next Anti-Bullying Forum will be held in October 2023. It will be hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and led by Dorothy Espelage, the William C. Friday Distinguished Professor of Education at the UNC School of Education and a leading expert on bullying and youth well-being.
